Flipkart Vidyarthini 4.0 · Women in Supply Chain · First Years Only
It looks like a campus program, but the real prize is a ₹1.2 lakh monthly supply chain internship at Flipkart.
Vidyarthini 4.0 is Flipkart's flagship Women in Supply Chain Campus Program. It is open only to first year female MBA students from a select set of campuses, and the entire journey is designed to funnel the best performers into a summer internship with a stipend of ₹1,20,000 per month, followed by a pre placement interview and a performance linked conversion to a Management Trainee role in eKart Supply Chain Operations. The catch? Most students treat it like a networking event and miss the hiring intent behind it.
Why this matters
This is one of the few campus interventions where the top 100 scholars are flown to Flipkart headquarters in Bengaluru for an in person immersion, and then directly enter the summer internship hiring process. The registration window is short, the eligibility is narrow, and the screening is multi layered. If you qualify, it is worth preparing like it is a placement process, not a competition.

Read this before you register
This is not a case competition. It is a hiring pipeline.
Unlike most campus challenges that end with a prize, Vidyarthini is structured as a multi stage selection funnel. The real objective is to identify future supply chain talent for Flipkart. Approach every round, from the registration form to the immersion, as part of an extended interview process.
Who can apply
Eligibility is strict, and the campus list is short
The program is exclusively for first year female students enrolled in the flagship two year PGDM or MBA program at the following campuses only. If your campus is not on this list, you cannot apply.
The IIT management schools are also part of the eligible set, so tech oriented MBA students get access too.
Only first year female students can register. The program is solo participation. You cannot form a team, and the registration form is the first filter. Any inaccurate information leads to immediate disqualification, so fill it carefully.
The three milestones
From registration to the Bengaluru immersion
The journey is split into three milestones. Each one is an elimination round, and each one tests a slightly different dimension.
01
Screening
Academic consistency and non academic achievements
All registered candidates go through a screening process. The evaluation is based on your academic performance and consistency so far, plus non academic achievements and accolades. This is why your CV and the registration form matter more than most students realize.
Tip: Do not treat the registration form as a formality. List achievements that demonstrate leadership, analytical ability, and any exposure to operations or supply chain.
02
Online Assessment
A brief synopsis for a given problem statement
Shortlisted candidates submit a brief synopsis for a problem statement shared by Flipkart. Flipsters evaluate the submissions and select the Top 100 Vidyarthini Scholars. A detailed brief is shared only with relevant participants when this round goes live.
Tip: Since the topic is supply chain, expect problems around fulfillment center design, last mile delivery, inventory placement, demand forecasting, or returns optimization. Structure your synopsis around problem definition, data driven insights, and a clear recommendation.
03
The Immersion
In person immersion and networking at Flipkart HQ
The top 100 scholars are invited to Flipkart headquarters in Bengaluru. Travel and stay are sponsored by Flipkart. During the visit, scholars participate in a group discussion round, meet senior leadership and inspiring Flipsters from supply chain, and receive a certificate of selection.
Tip: Everyone who attends the immersion enters the summer internship hiring process. Treat the group discussion and networking conversations as evaluative. Prepare supply chain stories and questions that show you understand e commerce logistics.
The hiring process
All scholars who visit the headquarters enter the hiring process for the summer internship. Further details are communicated to students via their respective placement committees at a later stage. If you make it to the immersion, keep your placement office in the loop.
How to stand out
Five things that will move you from applicant to scholar
1
Show supply chain curiosity in the registration form
Mention any project, internship, coursework, or even coursework simulation that touched logistics, operations, or fulfillment. Generic answers get filtered out quickly.
2
Prepare for the synopsis like a mini case
Read up on Flipkart's supply chain model, eKart's role, warehouse automation, and last mile innovation. Use frameworks like issue tree, cost benefit, and capacity planning.
3
Build a clear, data friendly narrative
Flipkart values analytical rigor. Wherever possible, quantify your argument. Even estimated numbers with transparent assumptions are better than purely qualitative answers.
4
Practice group discussion with supply chain themes
The immersion includes a GD round. Practice structuring your points, building on others, and summarizing decisions under time pressure.
5
Network with intent during the immersion
Ask thoughtful questions about Flipkart's supply chain strategy, sustainability, and rural reach. Follow up on LinkedIn with a crisp thank you note referencing the conversation.
Important dates
The registration window is just four days long
Registrations open on 17 July 2026 at 10:00 AM and close on 20 July 2026 at 11:55 PM. The window is tight, so keep your documents and form answers ready in advance. Do not wait for the last day, because server load and form edits can cost you the submission.
Beware of scams
No one will ask you for money
This program is conducted by HirePro and MyCareernet on behalf of Flipkart. Flipkart, HirePro, and MyCareernet follow ethical recruitment practices and never seek any monetary deposit from candidates at any stage.
